Senior Frontend-focused Engineer (m/f/d)

What you should expect from your role:

improving the user experience and the insurance advice process of our customers during the complete customer lifetime, both from a product as well as from a technical point of view, together with your colleagues in a cross-functional team
working on all customer touchpoints: from the landing pages, through our advisor app to the emails we send to our customers, all built with our in-house design system and its React-based reusable components which you will also further co-develop
do necessary changes in our NodeJS backend and to our GraphQL API to enable independent full-stack development
decide on the future tech-stack we shall use, together with the team, to always profit from the latest technological improvements
sharing your knowledge – with both our junior and senior engineers
you can share your knowledge in dedicated environments – like our internal documentation and our knowledge sharing sessions - as well as, of course, in your day-to-day work, i.e. during pair-programming

What we expect from you:

production experience with React (ideally in combination with NextJS), deep knowledge of the framework and enjoying working with it
being an expert in CSS
sharing our values when it comes to code quality – experience with testing is crucial
product-oriented, user-centered thinking and the drive to build something great
experience with designing APIs – ideally GraphQL
learning continuously and always staying up to date, while also sharing your knowledge
ideally basic knowledge of Kubernetes, Helm and AWS, as we rely on both for managing our deployments
